How to use the timer and stopwatch
- Tap a preset such as 5 min, or enter hours, minutes and seconds.
- Press Start. The bar shows the time left, and the browser tab shows it too.
- When time is up an alarm sounds and the display flashes. +1 min adds time while it runs.
- Switch to Stopwatch to measure time; Lap records split times.
Tips for classrooms and meetings
Use Full screen on a projector or smart board so everyone can see the countdown. On phones the screen stays on while the timer runs, where the browser allows it. The timer keeps correct time in a background tab because it counts to a fixed end time.
For focused work, 25 minutes on and 5 minutes off is the classic Pomodoro rhythm.

Why don't I hear the alarm?
Check the volume and that the tab is still open. Some phones mute web audio in silent mode.
Does it keep running if I switch tabs?
Yes. The remaining time is calculated from the end time, so it stays accurate.
How precise is the stopwatch?
It shows hundredths of a second and uses the browser's high-resolution clock.
